Els Gots del Berenar (Berenar Glasses) is an experimental etching plus fondino stamping work of 10 variations. There is no precise translation of the Catalan word “berenar” or its equivalent in Spanish “merienda” into English. Berenar is a light meal, a sort of snack usually eaten in the middle of the afternoon, between lunch and dinner time. It is a rare, bittersweet and nostalgic moment; a rather comforting feeling reminiscent of my childhood.
